Bien
avant ALONSO, il y a eu en ESPAGNE un seigneur des sports mécaniques:
Carlos SAINZ. Grace à lui, entre autres, une formidable passion est
née dans ce pays méditerranéen, que ce soit en auto et moto. Etre parrainé
par lui, était un tremplin fabuleux pour parvenir au sommet. Au volant
d'une MITSUBISHI GROUPE N, Daniel SORDO s'est fait remarquer en Mondial.
CITROEN l'aide par l'intermédiaire de Guy FREQUELIN et c'est au volant de
la C2 qu'il remporte les titres en ESPAGNE et surtout en MONDIAL
"JUNIOR". Il a le volant de la "KRONOS" WRC en 2006. La
première demi-saison fut impériale, à tel point que son écurie le nomme
au volant "officiel" pour ramener les points "CONSTRUCTEURS"
en lieu et place de PONS. Las, quelques erreurs de jeunesse en seconde
partie de saison, et peut-être l'absence de Sébastien, l'ont quelque peu
perturbé. Néanmoins, il a le volant officiel de la C4 en 2007. Mais
attention à la danse de "Saint GUY". Il est vrai qu'à son crédit,
les épreuves où il a failli étaient entièrement nouvelles pour lui.
2008 fut plus que faste, grâce à son soutien et ses performances qui
s'améliorent de jour en jour, CITROEN conquiert le titre suprême. Par la
suite, Dani a étalé tout son savoir faire et est le meilleur équipier
mondial pour ramener des points à son équipe. Son rapport
performances/fiabilité est unique au monde et ce n’est pas un certain rallye d’ARGENTINE qui va nous
contredire. Il est de plus hyper-sympa et discret, ce qui n’est pas peu
dire.. Si tu veux une assurance d’être champion du
monde « constructeurs » à l’heure actuelle, il te faut SORDO.
HYUNDAI l’avait bien compris…nous attendons le cette année ! Peut-être
au Portugal..

(contrairement à SAINZ !) mais pas du tout le JAPON, sa voiture

DANY SORDO (2003/2024 in the World Championship)
Long before ALONSO, there was a motorsports lord in SPAIN: Carlos SAINZ. Thanks to him, among others, a tremendous passion was born in this Mediterranean country, both
for cars and motorcycles. Being
sponsored by him was a fabulous springboard to reach the top.
Driving a MITSUBISHI GROUP N, Daniel SORDO made a
name for himself in the
World Championship. CITROEN helped
him through Guy
FREQUELIN, and it was behind the wheel of the C2 that he won titles in SPAIN and especially
in the "JUNIOR" WRC. He drove the
"KRONOS" WRC in 2006. The first half-season was imperial, so much so that
his team appointed him to the "official" wheel
to bring home the "CONSTRUCTOR" points instead of PONS. Alas, a few youthful errors in the second
half of the season, and
perhaps Sébastien's
absence, somewhat disturbed
him. Nevertheless, he had the official steering wheel of the C4 in 2007. But watch out for
the "Saint Guy" dance. It's true that, to his credit, the events where he failed were
entirely new to him.
2008 was more than successful, thanks to his support and his performances, which improved daily, CITROEN conquered the supreme title. Subsequently, Dani displayed all his expertise
and is the best teammate
in the world at bringing home points for his team. His performance/reliability ratio is unique
in the world, and a certain Rally Argentina wouldn't contradict us. He's also extremely
friendly and discreet, which is saying
something. If you want to be guaranteed the title of
"constructors'" world champion right now, you need
SORDO. HYUNDAI understood this
well...we are expecting it this year! Maybe in Portugal.

SAINZ, favorite terrain: asphalt, favorite rally: Italy (unlike SAINZ!) but definitely
